Brief Introduction to the Club The club was formed in 1974 and has always been based at Rowson Drive playing fields. Since that date Cadishead Sports JFC have provided football facilities for boys and girls from the surrounding areas of Irlam, Cadishead and Eccles. One of the original founders, Harold Bloor, is still connected with the club and is Secretary to the Warrington Junior League Committee. Cadishead Sports JFC is a Charter Standard Club. Our team kit colours are blue and black stripped shirt, black shorts and black socks. Cadishead Sports JFC competes in the Warrington Junior Football League. The Warrington Junior Football League is:-

  • The Biggest League in North West
  • Is made up of 48 Clubs; a total of 410 teams make up the League
  • Provides football to excess of 7,000 children from ages of 6-16
  • All teams must be within a 15 mile radius of Warrington Town Hall gates

During the course of last season, the club enjoyed success at many different levels:- Cadishead JFC 2007 / 2008 Successes Congratulations to all the children that represented Cadishead Sports JFC.

Cadishead Sports JFC welcomes visitors The Club is proud of its facilities and can boast one of the best playing surfaces in the league. The Rowson Drive ground is often used for semi finals and other important games. The Clubs grounds man, Mr Ian Keymer, is a recipient of the prestigious grounds man of the year award, presented by the FA.

  • All Teams are therefore asked to keep players off the pitches until invited onto the field of play by the referee.
  • Spectators are requested to walk around the pitches and keep off from the playing surfaces.
  • Cadishead Sports JFC operates a strict no photography policy.
  • All cars are parked at the owners own risk. Cadishead Sports JFC takes no responsibility for any loss or damage.

A club shop is available and all visitors are welcome to use it. A huge thank you to the volunteers who man the shop on behalf of the club. The shop serves hot and cold drinks, sweets and hot food.
